Happy Sunday! I'm kind of sad that today is Sunday. It's the last of Spring Break and I'm still recovering from our vacation. I still have tons of laundry to do. I hate laundry with a passion. 
 

This weeks questions is all about Pinterest!



1. What is your favorite outfit pin? I don't have a single outfit pinned. I'm not big into fashion. I'm a t-shirt,jeans, and flip flop kind of girl

2. What is your favorite food pin?  Strawberry Cobbler. I want to make this so bad. I can't wait to hit the farmers market up for some fresh strawberries.

 3. What is your favorite Wedding pin? Once again, I don't have anything pinned for weddings. I was married before Pinterest so I don't see a point in pinning those things.

4.What is your favorite craft/DIY pin? These pumpkins.I have made them a few years ago and I can't wait for fall to come around so I can bring them out. It's just fake pumpkins with napkins mod podged on.

Happy Easter!!! I hope you have a wonderful Easter and get to spend it with the ones you love!!!
Today is going to be a busy day. Church, lunch at Grandma's, last minute cleaning and packing, taking the dog to my mother-in-laws, and hitting the bed early. We are leaving for Florida at 4 am!

I see lot's of coffee in my future!


Now on to the questions!

1. Favorite type of work out to do. I walk. I should do more, but I have zero motivation in that area.

2. Favorite guilty pleasure, candy, or sweet? Anything chocolate! Such a sucker for chocolate.

3. What is the one thing you continuously forget to do. I always forget to take the clothes out of the dryer.

4. Post its or phone reminders. Both. I have post it notes all over my computer home screen. I'm so glad that my computer came with a post it note app.

5. Favorite picture currently on your phone that always makes you smile.

Good Morning! The weekend is over and that means it's time for Sunday Social. I hope ya'll had a wonderful weekend! It's been a rainy one here so we haven't done much of anything. It was a perfect lazy weekend.



1.What is your favorite thing about spring? The weather warming up, opening your windows and letting the cool breeze in. The trees coming back to life and the flowers starting to bloom. Being able to wear my flip flops again. This southern girl loves her flip flops!

2. Favorite kind of flowers to grow or receive?  I don't grow anything. I do not have a green thumb what so ever. I could look at a plant and it will start to wilt. My favorite flowers are orchids and hibiscus. 

3. What is your favorite nail polish color? When it comes to nail polish, I don't discriminate. How can a nail polish junkie choose a favorite? During the spring the darker colors are put up and the bright and cheery colors are rotated out. At the moment I am loving O.P.I.Suzi's Hungary AGAIN! I just got a mani done with that color and it is a must have color!

4. What is your favorite outdoor activity? Playing with my little one at the park and having a picnic with her. It's so refreshing being able to go to the park more once the Spring weather hits.

5. Do you have any fun Spring plans? We are going to Florida next week to spend a week a with my Grandpa and take the little one to Magic Kingdom for the day. Jayla has no idea that we are going to Disney! I'm so excited to see her reaction.

Happy Sunday! This weekend sure did fly by for us! I'm not ready for it to be over. Weekends seriously should include Monday.

With the end of the weekend it's time for another Social Sunday!




 1. What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day? Cuddle up on the couch with my little one and just be lazy. Rainy days seem to drain every ounce of energy out of me.

2. What is your favorite thing to do on a summer weekend? Go to the farmer's market in the morning, head out to my grandma's and spend the day at the pool, and then coming home and cooking out. This makes me more and more ready for summer to come!

3. What is your favorite spring activity? I don't think I have a particular favorite spring activity. Here spring and summer almost collide with one another. I'm ready for Spring Break because that means vacation time!! 

 4. What is your favorite way to spend a winter day? Winter here is very mild. We didn't get any snow,again. :( I was really hoping for some snow. It does still get cold and winter is the perfect excuse to curl up on the couch with a good book and some hot cocoa. 

 5. What is your favorite season and why? Fall and Spring are almost a tie but Fall wins by a hair. I love the leaves changing colors, the smells, apple pies, hoodies and sweatshirts. I love everything that fall represents. 

6. What is the best birthday you ever had? None of my birthdays really stand out in my mind as being awesome or overly special. Birthdays were a small family thing growing up. Dinner,cake, ice cream, presents, family. That's about it. I did look forward to my birthday because my grandma would always make me a cake. Grandma's cakes are the best!

With the weekend coming to a close it means another edition of Social Sunday!



 1. What is one movie you are terrified to watch? There really aren't any movies that I am terrified to watch. I love scary movies!

2. What is one TV show you have always wanted to get into but haven’t yet? The Wire. I know its been off for a while but I’ve heard great things. The Walking Dead. We were late to the game finding out about this show and have yet to watch it. We need to start from the beginning in order for us to watch it.

3. What is one daring activity on your bucket list? I'm a wuss. I don't have anything daring or risky that I would like to do on my bucket list. 

4. Would you ever travel alone? If I had to yes, but I wouldn't want too. If I'm having to travel somewhere I want to experience it with my hubbs. 

5. What activities do you like to do alone? Anything! It's not often that I have a chance at some alone time other then grocery shopping.

Well folk's it is Sunday again and that means another edition of Sunday Social. 

This week is all about those awkward years.



1. What was your biggest middle school fashion mistake? Oh goodness. Those really big Dr. Seuss type hats were very popular in my middle school during 8th grade. Everyone had one, and everyone wore one. Even me. They were the most ridiculous looking things and not a single person looked good in them.

2. Who were your best friends in High School? I'm not really friends with many people from high school. The ones that were my friends aren't now and the ones I wasn't friends with I am now. With us not being friends anymore, I'm not too comfortable discussing it. Don't want to violate anyone's privacy and put them out on blogland like that. I will say I was the type of person that had friends in every little clique. 

3. What was a typical weekend like for you in High School? Work. I worked a lot in high school but when I wasn't working I was partying. I was a wild one. 

4. Did you have any boyfriends/girlfriends? Tell us about them. I really didn't date anyone in high school. Sure I had a fling or two while I was in high school. They were either already out of high school or went to a different school. I was really all about myself in high school and was too busy doing my own thing to worry about a boyfriend.

5. Did you have any secret codes with your friends? Spill your secrets. The only one that I can think of is the teacher alert code. We would all smoke in the bathroom after lunch and if you saw a teacher coming someone would ask for a tampon. Oh how we were so cool back then. *eye roll*

6. If you could relive one day/moment/experience from middle school or high school, what would it be? My Sophomore year in high school a local radio station was holding a spirit contest. The winning school would have a free concert at their school. The bands playing were popular but weren't big names. I can't remember who they were now or what they played. To win we had to send the radio station index cards with our name, grade, and high school. Teachers were letting us fill out these index cards through the whole class. Other then that, I couldn't wait to get out of high school.

The weekend is almost over and that means it's time for another Social Sunday.


This weeks questions are all about Valentine's Day.

1. What is the best Valentine's Day you ever had? It would have to be my first Valentine's Day that I spent with the hubbs. We had only been dating for a couple of months at the time. He showed up to my work with beautiful flowers and that night we drove 2 hours to my favorite Korean restaurant. It's a mom and pop, hole in the wall kind of place but you get the real deal from them. Oh boy, do they feed you. 

2. What is the worst Valentine's Day you ever had? It would have to be 8th grade when a boy made a really mean comment to me. It ruined my whole day. Boys suck.

3. What did you do this Valentine's this year? I was one of the class moms for nut-nut's class so I helped set that up. Surprised the hubbs at work during his lunch break with some candy. The hubbs was at school that evening so nut-nut helped me make heart shaped pizza for dinner. 

4. What is your best Valentine's idea if you are single? Have fun and don't stress over V.day. It's just another day. An over commercialized one at that.

5.What is your favorite Valentine's candy? Dove chocolate hearts. It has to be the heart shaped ones.

6. Favorite Valentines memory for you're childhood? It isn't necessarily my favorite memory but it is one that stands out in my mind the most. I think my brother was about 2 or 3 at the time. My mom gave me one of those heart shaped boxes with the assortment of truffles on Vday morning. I placed it on the very top shelf of my bookcase before I left for school. I couldn't wait to get home and eat my candy. I rushed into my room to get my candy to discover it was missing. I look in my brothers room where he is taking a nap and he has my candy. It is caked all over the bottom of his shoe, all over his face and blanket. The little booger climbed my bookcase and ate my candy after he finished his. I was so mad!

Good Morning! I don't know about you but I am exhausted! I ended up spending 6 hours at the emergency room last night with the hubbs. He is ok now after a shot in the hip and some pain meds. I swear that man needs to be bubbled wrapped.


Now, on to the questions. This week's questions are all about your childhood.

1. What was your first car? A 99 Mitsubishi Mirage. It had quite the paint job on it. It was a blueish purple with sparkles all through it and the wing( I think that is what it's called:/) of the car had the flip flop paint on it. I called the car a bass boat because that is exactly what it reminded me of. It was a fun little car and it did me good. I only paid $1,000 for it.

2. Who was your favorite childhood teacher? Her name was Mrs.Hammett in the Third grade. I don't remember much about her except she was really nice and we had a lot of fun in her class. She LOVED Tim McGraw with a passion and she gave me a silver dollar when I learned my times tables.

3. Were you involved in any sports/extracurricular activities? Not really. I did gymnastics once and I took dance long enough to learn how to twirl a baton.

4. What was your favorite birthday party? I really don't have a particular one that stands out in my mind. I didn't have the parties where you invited all of your friends or had a 'theme." It was always just family but you always looked forward to Grandma's homemade birthday cake.

5. Who was your teen celebrity crush? Curt Cobain.

6. What show or movie did your parents not allow you to watch? Porn. Not that I wanted to watch it or anything. My mom was just never strict with what I was allowed or not allowed to watch but I'm sure porn would have crossed the line. Lol.

It's the end of the weekend and that means it's Sunday Social time! 
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and eats lots of yummy game day food tonight. 


This weeks questions are all about twos. 

1.If you were stuck on an island what are the two material items you would want to have. My toothbrush and one of my squishy pillows. I can't sleep without my squishy pillows.

2. What are two TV shows you'd watch over and over? New Girl and Grey's Anatomy.

3. If your house was on fire what two things aside from family,pets,etc. would you grab? My laptop and the safe. The safe has all of our important documents and pictures.

4. What are your two most favorite articles of clothing? It would have to be my sweat pants and hoodies.

5. What two movies that you saw in the past year would you recommend to us? Oh geez, this one is hard. I don't think there is a movie that I would recommend. There isn't one that stands out in my mind.

6. What are your two biggest guilty pleasures? Starbucks and new nail polish.

Good Morning! The weekend is almost over and that means it's time to link up with Ashley and Neely for

This weeks questions are:

1. What is your ideal way to relax? I don't get to relax often but when I do I love to soak in a hot bubble bath with the door locked and the music cranked up so I can't hear Jayla attempting to come in. I also love to snuggle on the couch with the hubbs and watch a movie.

2. Where is your favorite place to be? My grandparents house. It's just peaceful and serene there. All of my fondest memories revolve around my grandparents and their home. When I'm there it seems that the rest of the world just melts away and all the problems and worries go with it.

3.Who do you consider your biggest role model? My grandma. Can't you tell that I absolutely adore them? If I can be half the person she is then I will be pretty amazing. I get a lot of my qualities from her and have been blessed that she passed down her cooking and baking skills to me. One day I hope to be able to make cakes as beautiful as hers once were. 

4. What does your life look like in 3 years? I'm hoping to have another child by then and taking the plunge into home ownership. We have a 3 year plan to save up money and put a home on my mother-in-laws land. Being a home owner scares me and I guess I have to grow up at some point and take that plunge.

5. If you could go back and change one decision what would it be? Nothing. Yes, there are things that I wish I would have done differently but all of my choices have led me to where I am today and have made me who I am. If I go back and change one thing, it could change the outcome for what and who I am today. I'm not risking that.

6. What is your biggest accomplishment in life so far? I've always hated this question. I feel that I haven't done anything spectacular or consider an accomplishment worthy of this category other then my child. My child is by far the best thing that I have ever had or done. She brings so much joy to my life and I love being her mommy.
